It's real simple. You just tell them the model, color and options you want, they search for one, negotiate the price down as low as it can possibly go and you then go buy it from the dealership.

Go read about the Focus ST stalling problem on FocusST.org and you will have second thoughts about it. Great car (mine has 12k miles) but there's a problem!
